Burnaby Chinese Evangelical Free Church ("BCEFC," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices — particularly regarding photos and videos taken at church.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information when you fill out a visitor card, contact form, registration form, or give financially, including your name, email, phone number, mailing address, and (for giving) information needed to issue a tax receipt.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your questions or requests
- To keep you informed about church activities you've expressed interest in
- To process donations and issue annual tax receipts

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate (e.g. email or giving-receipt processors), and only as required by law.
Photos & Videos
We regularly take photos and videos at worship services, church events, and activities. These may be used on our website, social media, the weekly bulletin, and other promotional materials to share what God is doing in our church family.
If you do not wish to have yourself or your child's photo or video used in this way, please contact the church office and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Children's Information
For programs involving children (Sunday School, VBS, camps, etc.), we only collect information necessary for safety and communication with parents/guardians, and it is only accessible to authorized ministry leaders.
