BCEFC Chinese School is committed to teaching students to learn and apply the Chinese language, helping them understand Chinese culture and traditional customs, and cultivating good character following the example of Jesus Christ — equipping students to choose the right values in life amid the clash of Eastern and Western cultures.

Grade Arrangement

• Small class teaching.
• Junior and Senior Kindergarten (ages 4 and up).
• Grades 1 through 6.

Language of Instruction

Classes are taught in Cantonese.

Teaching Materials

• Kindergarten uses materials developed in-house by the school.
• Grades 1–6 use textbooks and workbooks published in Taiwan.
• Textbooks and workbooks published in Hong Kong are used as supplementary materials.
• Teachers also prepare their own supplementary materials.

Our teachers are experienced Christian educators with professional teacher training.

Class Schedule

Every Saturday, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM.

Other Activities

• In addition to regular classroom activities, a 10-minute religious and moral story class is held every week.
• Bulletin boards are regularly published, featuring student work.
• Competitions and extracurricular activities are held to improve students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, such as calligraphy contests, nursery rhyme recitation, poetry recitation, card design, "little teacher" activities, and riddle guessing.
• Celebrations or introductions to traditional customs and seasonal stories are held for various Chinese and Western festivals.
• Students may also join the church's children's activities and children's summer camp.
